Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Still talented so wherever he goes is going to be getting 1 heck of a player.

AP is one of my favorite players I've ever watched. And it pains me to say this, but I'm not certain he is still one heck of a player. Literally nothing from him last year before his injury and the year before that he still had a good average yards per carry, but a lot of that was open holes....his yards after contact were terrible.

I'd love for him to go have additional productive years even if it isn't for the Vikings. But I'm not convinced age/reps haven't caught up with him.

I don't think AP will be on the market long

I do. The guy will want to be paid like the top back in the NFL and teams just are not going to give him that kind of money at 32 coming off a big injury. He's just not the same guy anymore.

There are foolish teams out there but i don't think AP gets near the $ he will expect. Injuries will continue to pile up and he wont play another full season in the NFL IMO

AP will make a nice complementary back on a contending team. He'll eventually swallow his pride and settle for team friendly $. Granted lots of teams have lots of cap space so he may get more then we're thinking from a needy team? Sharing carries will help with avoiding the injury bug. So even at 32 with all the time he's missed he doesn't have as many miles as a back of his age and caliber.

I'm just wondering if he'd take 5 from the Patriots or 10 from the Browns. I'd be inclined to say the latter because he pisses away money on stupid things like birthday camel rides and that child support definitely can't be cheap.

Hearing AP will decide between the Lions and the Packers.

Either way, he's playing against the Vikings in 2017.

He'd be decent as a change of pace RB.

Yep...I was wrong.
Thought there might be an ounce of humility and a strong desire to win. It appears AP remains all about the money

If he had that, he might have a team by now.

It's getting to the point where he might have to wait until a training camp injury happens to a team, which is probably fine by him, since he hates camp anyways.

It's tough for superstar type players to realize they've lost something and no longer worth top dollar. For some reason I thought he was going to end up in OAK, but not to be with them courting a retired player. Maybe Tampa.

What's kind of interesting to me...it seems to be still about the dollar. He's made plenty of money you would think he'd be trying to latch on to playoff caliber team and try to get a ring on the way out.

My theory has been that he has been so bad with his money, that he doesn't have much left.

Adrian had his Hobbit of an agent throw a tantrum about money just 2 months after he was suspended for a year. Dogra even tried to fist fight Rob Brzezinski, The Vikings VP, over it.

He has 5 or 6 illegitimate children and 2 with his wife. Those child support payments can't be cheap.

He likes to make a massive production about Adrian Peterson day, he even skipped mini-camp one year because of it.

Expensive stuff adds up and mark my words, 5 years after Adrian Peterson is retired (or less), he will be another story about an athlete who made a ton of money, was stupid with it and is now broke.

I can believe it...you get in front of the wrong judge with multiple kids out of wedlock it's going to cost you big time...just ask Terrell Owens, among others. We'll hear about AP filing bankrupt in about 5 yrs as you said...that's the only way from under those big support payments.

Sorry to tell you AP...those big money days are over...imo $4mil to $5mil per is probably what he will get on a 2 yr deal with an option...maybe.
