Ugliest win I've seen in a while.

This team belongs no where near the playoffs.

Beat the packers in two weeks and call it a season.

Yep. Then end the season being about 8 - 9. Just enough wins to put them firmly in the middle of the pack with their first round draft pick instead of having a better earlier pick. Also, just good enough to keep Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman in town to keep the cycle of average/slightly below average seasons rolling along.

Cook out this weekend against the Rams. I don't think the Vikes win regardless if he's in or not, but this could be ugly.

Yep. It's always the same crap with this team. Get just enough wins to keep then out of contention for a top-tier draft pick any given year, or take a giant dump in a big playoff game they lucked themelseves into.

high draft picks don't guarantee turnaround

look at all years cincy, det, raiders, etc draft high

I do believe Vikings will at least be looking at new HC, Wilfs were close to firing Zim after 2019 season I guess

Cousins has cooled off from his hot start as well

he's still not the main problem, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's back next year, but I am hoping to get a real OC, not a former OC's son

Zim's downfall will be hiring his kid and kubiaks kid to OC/DC

I agree with him to an extent, but we happily ignored the warning signs in Washington so it's not like he just Grand theft autoed us. We as an organization fell for the ruse that is Kirk Cousins. He will make a 10 win team .500, he will make a 6 win team .500.

I know a high draft pick won't automatically materialize into a good player. I've been following this team for 25 years, so I'm very familiar with that.

On the other hand, canning Zimmer and starting the slate clean with a slightly better draft pick couldn't hurt anything. Let's be real, this team isn't doing anything under Zimmer regardless. He should have been canned after that 2019 loss to Chicago season finale where winning would have guaranteed a playoff spot.
