Why is samia playing, can we try Ezra cleveland?

I was thinking how bad must Ezra look in practice that they haven't tried it yet?!?! Remember we used to ask the same thing about Samia when Elflien looked so f'ing bad. Now we know the reason. Doesn't bode well for the outlook of Cleveland.

Spielman really should be slapped around for his lack of movement along the OL this year. It was a weak link last year and we knew it was going to be a weak link this year. And he did nothing. It's just dumbfounding.

The other thing that I can't figure out is Udoh. For 2 years they thought it was necessary to keep him on the roster but make him inactive every game. If they think he is so necessary to protect and keep him off the practice squad, why aren't they going to try him? And even Jones seems like an option that might be tried at this point.

Really they have to do something to get Samia off the field. Hell even just putting in a sub for him on obvious passing downs would be a step forward (never understood why teams don't situationally play some OL).

Is anyone *not* on the fire Zimmer bandwagon yet? At the rate they're going this season, his career win % as a HC could end up be lower than that of Brad Childress.

No joke, I'd take Chilly back for another spin before sticking with Zimmer any longer. At least Chilly made for some classic entertainment in a lot of his press conferences/interviews back in the day, even if it was for bad reasons. At this point, Zim not only puts out a crappy product on the field, but he's boring too.

We're rebuilding our defense on the fly and our best defender has been out injured all season. Talent is part of the issue

Zimmer is a good defensive coordinator but only average as a head coach.

Yeah, it's especially fun seeing them beat them in Green Bay and potentially making their playoff path more difficult. However, as always, they just got themselves a little bit closer to getting just enough wins to push themselves out of the best draft pick spots. Watch them win a 2-3 more games and up picking around #10 or so.

This was really always going to be the case this year though, we unfortunately are not a good team but at the same time we are far too talented to be one of the absolute worst teams.
