You guys will get Jagr. I can't imagine anyone else really making a strong run outside of Montreal. They need a power forward, you guys need a scorer. Jagr's both.

Id love to see everyone on the Sabres gone; team blows. Rack up as many draft picks as you can and just rebuild.
Wow would the sabres possibly be better off with 7 first round draft picks from Edmonton. Should have hit that trade up and just been terrible for a year or so instead of bad for 6.

He's over paid and was only good when Brier was feeding him the puck. Other then that he was good when it didn't matter.

If they are going to rebuild then rebuild. Clean house from top to bottom and start fresh.

Vanek is a good player and I would hate to see him leave but I think the time is now. Ship Pominville away too.

Miller will probably be gone during the summer when he can fetch the most.

I hate having another team that I love so dearly rebuild but the idea of it is a bit exciting if it is done properly.

Vanek is currently 7th in the league in points per game (6th if you exclude Lupul who has only played 9 games).

He's been cold lately and suffering a lot of injuries, but when he's in the lineup it's still pretty clear that he's the best player the Sabres have.

I don't think you can go too far with a rebuild because you do still need to have a couple guys with experience around to help guide the new guys. Who is that supposed to be if not Vanek? Hecht? Sekera? Pominville? Stafford?
