Our last coach was a loser at being a Head coach . A loser at DB coach and DC . I will ask again what makes him a head coach? because the team played hard ?

Well hell, Bronco fans seem to want way less than me.

chuck Pagano is the only person I have really liked because he fits doing something worthwhile as DC with the Ravens and showed he can win as a Coach as well.

I like plenty other Coaches better but I can live with Pagano

Nick Saban comes to mind as an extremely successful college coach that laid an egg at the NFL level. McDaniels was a winner when he came here and that didn't work out so well either. I think finding a great Coach is like finding a great QB. It is not as easy as it seems like it should be.

I will say that Pagano might be the best of the guys we are interviewing based on success but past success isn't always a predictor of future performance.

I like Munchuck. He has a skillset Denver needs in building great Olines something lacking for a while.
Couple him with a young OC like Taylor. I like Joe Woods the D was good enough to win a SB if the offense were scoring 25-27 ppg. Not sure we have the players yet to score 27 ppg. What we could start building is an identity. Run the ball and play defense like Ravens?

I'm not huge on Pagano. He seems a bit Josephy. He didn't seem like he has it all together as the head guy. Sure he won, but he had Luck. Hard not to win with a QB like that.

Fangio is intriguing. Wonder if he learned a few good tips under Harbaugh. But it could also be that he's better suited as a coordinator. Of who we're interviewing, he's probably my favorite candidate because he's definitely a good defensive mind and I'd love to see what he could do for Miller, Chubb, and Co.

Taylor is interesting. A little wary of young, offensive guys thanks to McDoosh. But this guy is more than likely nothing like the Belichick wannabe. If he can bring some innovation to our O, that would help us tremendously. But, we would need to let him pick a new DC.

Gonna be another long year if we're stuck with Woods again. Guy needed to be shown the door with Joseph.

Munchack is a mediocre HC. I don't see why we'd bother interviewing him, unless literally the only thing we want to improve is our O-line.

This is representative of DJ's HC career - he gets a 160 post thread on his way out the door. I love this guy, but in my mind - he never established that he was actually in control of the ball team (with the players or the fans).

My thought on Fangio was he could take stress of Kubiak - with one coaching the offense and the other the defense.

Jalil Brown - always got a lot more out of his talent than the average person - that may be a good coaching characteristic

I think the article was correct as well in that Elway is likely a bit gun shy on selecting a coach with very limited coordinator experience and little to no experience as a head coach.
