Sort of sounds like it is Munchak vs Pagano right now. I'm just gonna not get too excited or mad over whatever direction we go and hope for the best. Guess we can't control it anyway. ;)

I was sort of expecting a non sexy hire anyway. Not a lot out there on paper that blow me away.

I like Munchak. Our O-Line has been shit for years no matter who we draft or sign. Guys we let go are successful on other teams. The next PFM isn't walking through the door of Dove Valley any time soon, so we really do need a line that can protect a QB as well as run block. Maybe grab Munchak and then a hot up-and-coming OC candidate who can be mentored by Kubiak if Kubiak himself doesn't want to do it. Then a retread DC who would know how to use what we still have on D.

I’m good with Munchak. The Steelers O-Line has been great since he took over I believe he can bring some good stuff to our Offense.

I think Pagano and Taylor as coordinators would be awesome. Maybe have Gary in a hybrid role between coaching and talent evaluation. I think Gary is going to end up in some role on the coaching staff.

Elway just tweeted tell SS I'll sleep on it.

I'm not excited about anyone. I just hope we get an OC that can be creative and stop leading league in 3 and outs.

I know that he was a great lineman, and when we played the Steelers a few weeks ago, the OL did a heck of a job

I love what the Colts are doing dominating games with their OL - and they are doing it with 2 rookies ... Nelson is everything he was advertised to be leading up to the draft

What I'm getting at is that if Munchak can somehow get the Broncos to have an OL that good, I'm totally on board ...

According to what I’ve read, OL didn’t grade out all that great when Munch was HC for the Titans. (But I’m of the opinion that OL grades are somewhat dependent on an experienced QB, which Tennessee didntbhave when he was there.) But maybe he would have some influence on FA or on the draft process.

Titans had a terrible OL when he was there. I don’t really place the blame on him for tbst though. He didn’t have the resources. I can’t say if I think he is a good or bad hire. Would need to see more of him as a coach. One thing I will say is that he is probably just hitting his prime in the coaching world. Like Vance in Denver the Titans gig was probably just a bit too early for him.

Im of the opinion that only in very few cases can you judge a player or coach in a vacuum. Belicheck, Brady, Manning, Elway, etc. They elevate the play of everyone around them. But there's too much reliance on other players, coaches, injuries, and chance to truly see what one person will bring to the table.

OMG, Nelson I can argue is the best rookie period. He flat out dominates top notch defensive players like I've never seen from a rook. Hedestroyed Clowny yesteday on one play and Luck just sat and watch Nelson and totally ignored the play in progress after handing off. It was awesome

Can't draft a G in the top 6. Yeah maybe but Nelson is already All Pro.

With the Raven done . I got a feeling that like Carson the Ravens will chase the new thing out there and as we see the new ideas are winning this year so.Will John Harbaugh get another chance?

10 years and IMO it is time for new Diggs .

I don;t think I can remember another instance in which a non-coach / coordinator, etc had this happen ...
