USF Coach suspended over Aaron Lynch related tweet

No doubt there are red flags around Lynch, but he's competing for a spot at a crowded position. He's not just going to walk onto the squad. He'll have to work at it, elevate his level of play, and keep his nose clean if he wants to stick around.

As far as I know he's never been in trouble with the law and it sounds like he's just a guy that's made poor choices (not the illegal kind) with his life.

The question is if that's just a guy that was immature and needed a wake up call or if he's just a bad guy all around.

He just seems similar to Alex Boone who was just immature making poor choices off the field until Singletary got a hold of him and put him on a much better path.

Hopefully Lynch the next Boone and not Aldon.

Maybe not but you said the the HC is Jim's BFF. Would this have happened if he said this about Oakland? Or San Diego? I didn't bring up the Harbs connection.

Bottom line is it shouldn't have happened at all.

The only exception would be if he signed some kind of agreement that banned all employees of tweets of this nature. Still dumb but at least there would be a violation of school policy to refer to.
