I knew that some of the championships claimed by Alabama were ridiculous. But I had no idea they claimed 1973. That is, in fact, the equivalent of Notre Dame claiming 2012.

Bama didn't claim anything. UPI crowned their champion at the end of the regular season. Still LMAO@ Notre Dame. Chickenshit retards were too scared to even play a bowl game 1926-1969.

That would be because bowl games in those years conflicted with final exams. Notre Dame was protecting academics.

But I agree, it is a sad state of affairs when an institution of higher learning puts such a high premium as something so far removed from their mission . . as academics.

Go back and look. Notre Dame changed its academic calendar in 1969 (as did many schools around that time) such that the fall semester ended by Christmas. Now all of them use a calendar where the fall term ends by Christmas. It's a huge quality-of-life improvement.

People think air traffic controllers and inner city High School teachers have stressful jobs.

Try basically being a combination of the two and then see if you don't turn into a mental wreck.

Kind of a bad analogy, but kind of a pretty damn good one.

Oh we get that, he came through Ohio to learn his trade. Do not blame the messenger for him coming to Ohio to perfect his craft like so many others.

There is nothing to take credit for, what has he done?

Well he did win the 2014 ann arbor chicken wing challenge!

The bottom line is that with CUM's mgmt style and personality, he can't handle a mountain of talent at the highest level. Period. He's not a good enough manager to delegate what he can and guide it all toward a goal. Therefore, if Ohio State ever wants to infect the top of CFB again for awhile, CUM was a terrible choice for HC.

There's nothing else to say. What we learned about CUM from his short time at FL would make him a poor choice for OSUx or any other elite program.

There's just a mountain of attitude in here. All I said above was CUM got one helluva contract for a guy whose micro-mgmt. style led to a complete mental breakdown in a big program.

So, not only was he just starting to deal with his breakdown when the offer came from OSUx, but he didn't even have a moment to reflect how and why he got over his emotional head.

Just saying....you guys threw huge money at a broken horse.

Now, you're seeing holes in your program you really didn't have with the sweater vest. So, throw all the insults and attitude at me you want. But this is the way I see the CUMstain.
