Here's a little hypothetical example for you

Team A #1 (undefeated) plays team B who is #7 (with 1 loss)
Team A wins, dropping team B to #14 in the polls

So let me get this straight...By your logic, team A no longer has a top10 win anymore, since they won against team B.

what if team B loses another game?

Urban is not crying, he is playing the game. Don't begrudge him for campaigning in the "feduciary" manner that he is contractually bound. With few exceptions, your coach would do the same.

Over his unbeaten Buckeyes not getting any respect. Bro, you had a 2 loss team in the National championship game. This ain't Florida (SEC) anymore Urbs.

Keep in mind that Urban is the best crybaby in all football. His whining in the key of F was a reason why UF got chosen in both NC bids.

Now he takes those skills to Columbus, where they, no doubt, will get utilized again. After all, with G. Gordon Gee retiring, the Buckeyes need a new leader to bring ridicule to that proud university. I'm just waiting to see if he can break his record of 30 (or is that number too low?) arrested players in 3 years.

the system was correct in not sending michigan to the title game because they were not one of the 2 best teams. ohio state probably wasn't either, but it's hard to convince the country that they weren't that great or that they didn't deserve a shot given their record. kinda like notre dame last year.
B.S. Those teams were stacked and were top in the country. Ohio State went to TX and beat them. All that was proven was that FL was the better team on that day. Using your logic the undefeated LSU should not have gone to the NC game either with how Bama beat them in their 2nd meeting.

Meyer wont have that at tOSU, that is accepted in the SEC but not at Ohio State. Keep waiting...

not really by far. if they win out and beat an 11-1 michigan state team, they probably will have a comparable resume to florida state and baylor. maybe not quite as good, but certainly not "by far" the worst.

Willing to admit that I may have exaggerated a bit. But Baylor's resume will still be better.

So, when bama played LSU 2 weeks ago, we really played #22 LSU, not #13 which they were ranked before we beat them?!

right. and if LSU wins their last 2 games, they will be back to around 15. so there's that
