How the hell was he supposed to know that we'd lose Perine and Anderson to injury, Mixon would be a dumbass with a parking nazi, and Brooks would have to retire? Not to mention Ross (had as he was) decided to take his ball and go play elsewhere? Jesus, stfu with all the Switzer stuff. For starters, he didn't have the scholarship limits that are present now. It's not an apples to apples comparison, so just shut up about it.

At the beginning of the season we were talking about what a strength our RB position was. Now that they've been hit with the 10 plagues you want to act like bob went into the season with two scholarship running backs. Be a little objective once in a while.

Montgomery looked like he had the moves but that was against an exhausted Kansas defense, reminded me of Quinten Griffen from the short look I got.

Yes. There are plenty of legitimate things to jump on Stoops about, but this is not one of them. Throw Ford in there as well, and this is basically running back number 7 for us. Sometimes, shit just happens and there's nothing you can do about it.

Iowa State might not have the depth/athletes, but they play hard and they hit hard. Ask Seth Russell.
