OK, post your score predictions now.
Looks like it is.
Found this, it's 4 years old but doesn't matter.
Oklahoma owns 4 of the top 20 most lopsided series.
20 Most Lopsided Rivalries in College Football
So what you're saying is...Oklahoma has played in a shitbag of a fucktarded conference for over 100 years?
Somebody has to.
Am I the only one that worried, this could be a HUGE, jink thread
I think Florida beat Kentucky like 25 times in a row.The two teams have played 80 games.
Oklahoma leads the series 73-5-2.
That is a 92.5% winning percentage.
The last time ISU won was in 1990 when Gary Gibbs was the Oklahoma coach.
Oklahoma's record in Ames is actually better than at home.
35-2-1 in Ames for a 93.4% winning percentage.
The last time ISU won in Ames was 1961.
Total Points Scored in this Series.
Oklahoma 2502 points.
Iowa State 714 points.
Oklahoma is currently on a 17 game win streak.
But also owns win streaks of 23/19/8 in a row.
Iowa State won 2 in a row once.
The Average Score in this Series.
Oklahoma 31
Iowa State 9
Bob Stoops is 11-0 vs. Iowa State.
The average score in those games.
Oklahoma 41
Iowa State 9
Barry Switzer had a record of 15-0-1 vs. Iowa State.
Bud Wilkinson had a record of 15-2-0 vs. Iowa State.
Matt Campbell is the 1st year head Coach of Iowa State with a 1-7 record.
Of the 17 Iowa State Head Coaches that have faced Oklahoma for the first time, they have a combined record of 2-15 with their last win coming in 1931.
Oklahoma has 5 shutouts in those 17 games.
Oklahoma has only scored 50+points in 3 of those games.
The last time a new Head Coach for Iowa State faced Oklahoma, he lost 52-0.
I have HUGE Homeristic Illusions for this game.
Oklahoma 44
Iowa State 17
Is there a Conference Series in all of College Football that is more lopsided than this one.
I'd like to know what it is.
You are okay. They only do it to an Oklahoma team that is undefeated on a Friday night so the whole CFB can get a frickin' rematch in the BCS NCG.I am going to pissed if Iowa State kicks me in the nuts.
I won't predict it but it would be funny as hell if....
Iowa State 38 Oklahoma 37.
Ok, this sucks.
This game is being played on Scrub Night Thursday and I wasn't aware of that.
6:30pm ct Kickoff on ESPN.
I won't even be home from work by then.
They probably based that on the above statistics.
Because,
A. The stadium is 15 Minutes from where I am currently working,
B. Tickets in the lower level were $20 on Stubhub,
C. It does pass the minimum qualifications for an FBS college football game,
and,
D. There isn't anything else to do in Ames, Iowa
I'll be there.
So you'll be joining the other 500-600 people going to the game then???
