It takes time to groom an offensive lineman. It is possible he would play much better at RT and LG than he showed us earlier.

If memory serves, Brock and Salk discussed him with Cable this year, and he mentioned the ol' pad level standard as a reason he'd improved so much.

Have to go with Britt. The o-line is much improved then it was at this point last year and with Russ being hobbled, the line has done a good job protecting him.

Agree with Britt.

I'll add Ahtyba Rubin. The run defense hasn't really missed a beat with Mebane moving on, and while it's taken a village, so to speak (namely Reed, Rubin, and McDaniel), Reed isn't really unsung, and McDaniel has been called out already in this thread.

Agree with everything said, Britt and Shead have been great so far. Cassius Marsh deserves some love too.

Going forward though, I think Ifedi is going to be a force. Give him a few games and I think he's going to be a standout on the line. Just hope he can toe the line of aggression without the penalties a lot like Giacomini back in the day.

Who cares, it's about time someone improved on the Oline. Thing is i hope they resign him when it's time and not let him walk. Dude has been blowing up the inside a lot. Yes he makes mistakes still but this is his first time playing center. I think hands down he is the strongest center we have ever had. Wilson has been able to STEP UP into a true pocket and this has kept him from running and maybe hurting himself even more. A lot of that is the Center anchoring the middle of the line.

Now if the Tackles can improve to average then we got something to work with. Gilliam has been down right bad and Sowell not much better.

This would be nice. Right now i think Britt is our best Olineman and then you throw a powerfull nasty mean Ifedi beside him it gives us that lane of dominance like Walt/Hutch. With those two we always saw power left with SA now we might see Blast right ( between Center and Guard ). This is perfect for what this running game wants to do. Punch you in the mouth.
