They lost alot when Aaron Murray left to go for the draft. But they should still be in somewhat decent hands. Still, the SEC will prove a slaughterhouse.

Considering you have 8 games that you pretty much win just by showing up, I'd say changes need to be made if you don't.

We'll probably catch an L from Auburn and Mizzery. Florida and SC are almost always razor thin margins and could go either way. Clemson is kind of in the same spot we are, lost their QB but they also lost Watkins who was a big playmaker. Outside of that I don't really see a lot of potential for losses except for maybe Georgia Tech.

Not sure who's returning for UGA besides Gurley but I know Clemson is returning 6 seniors on the defense line including Vic Beasly. Clemson defense might carry them this year.

SEC teams with most returning starters in 2014 | Saturday Down South

Key returnees: RB Todd Gurley, RB Keith Marshall, WR Michael Bennett, WR Chris Conley, C David Andrews, DE Ray Drew, LB Ramik Wilson, OLB Jordan Jenkins, OLB Leonard Floyd, CB Damian Swann, DB Josh Harvey-Clemons

Key losses: QB Aaron Murray, OL Chris Burnette, LT Kenarious Gates, TE Arthur Lynch, DE Garrison Smith

Assuming they can stay healthy they can be pretty good on both sides of the ball if Mason is any good (Murray's likely replacement).

Must be the SEC bounce, but I do not see any reason to believe Missouri is a good team this year. They return 9 starters. The record maybe a bit better than I expect, mainly because they miss Bama, Auburn, and LSU in the cross-division schedule. Lost a ton of playmakers on both sides of the ball.

The east is still up for grabs nonetheless. Mauk seemed like he could end up being a decent dual threat QB in the SEC after Franklin got injured. Their defensive line would definitely not be as stout though.

massive losses at DE. Kind of losses that are near impossible to replace. The secondary was pretty bad, despite an amazing pass rush. I see that defense talking a decent step back back. On offense they lost their RB, top WRs, all-SEC tackle, guard, and QB. Mauck has experience and should be fine, but he lost some real weapons.

I can see UGA winning around 8 or 9, maybe even 10, depending on bowl outcome.

Dawgs go 15-0, NC. It's pre-season for god's sake ... of course we will win it all. Don't need to be drunk to know that!

On a serious note, Dawgs lose 1 or 2, no more. Missouri returns to earth, we have the reptiles number, we miss Bama and LSU, Auburn won't get lucky this year. Dawgs new QB is a stud ... running backs are awesome. New DC.

Not a bold prediction at all. In fact its a soft prediction. Weak sauce. If thats the best you got when drunk well you're a lightweight drinker.

Golden Nugget just released early betting lines for some games this year. For Georgia:

Clemson Tigers at Georgia Bulldogs -9
Georgia Bulldogs at South Carolina Gamecocks -3
Tennessee Volunteers at Georgia Bulldogs -17
Vanderbilt Commodores at Georgia Bulldogs -24
Georgia Bulldogs -7 at Missouri Tigers
Georgia Bulldogs -14.5 at Arkansas Razorbacks
Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs -9 (Jacksonville)
Auburn Tigers at Georgia Bulldogs -1
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Georgia Bulldogs -14

Seems the sportsbooks are thinking 7+ for sure.

:dhd: you acknowledged Murray didn't score. Georgia was lucky to be leading
