Im thinking Pruitt,Looks like Muschamp will be going to Georgia with Smart. We Will probably lose Scott Cochran too which will suck.

Cochran gone it's already been reported.

But the current Georgia S&C coach was Cochrans assistant for 6 years until this season. So he could be a hire I guess.

I bet Georgia never wears black alternative uniforms when Kirby is coach.

Coaching changes aren't anything new, Saban I'm sure will hire another great coach to replace them.

I remember thinking the same thing with Will Muschamp is all I am saying. Not that I think Smart will suck, I am just not sure how much on field results are actually his work and not Saban's.

We've been over this... Urban left that place in a mess for Muschamp to try and clean up.

Well to be honest he hasn't gotten in his recruits to fit the system at Auburn. Give him 2 more years and we'll find out how much better they are.

Fair enough, but he wasn't that good in Texas either. I am just not sold on him anymore.

Saban is his daddy. Period. Head to head I believe Saban is unDefeated vs Muschamp when he's on the opposite sidelines as a head coach or DC.

Unless he's specifically telling schools he's holding out for Texas, these teams are gonna regret not throwing everything at Tom Herman. That guy is gonna do big things imo and its crazy to me that USC, UGA etc didn't drag him to campus and refuse to let him leave. I like Smart, and wouldn't have minded at all if he came to VT, but he wouldn't be my first choice (which he seemed to be for UGA).

Mark Richt was an unproven at head coach that worked under a coaching legend as well. Smart might flame out, who knows, but I like the hire, and I like that they made it now.

If this is true and they are getting rid of Mark Richt to bring in an unproven coordinator who has been coaching under Nick Saban, good luck with that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tucker isn't promoted. He has a ton of experience and has did a great job with the secondary in just one season over how they looked under Smart last season. Wasn't he also labeled as "co-defensive coordinator" too?
