UGA and ND agree to home and home

UGA is traveling to South Bend in 2017, ND makes the return trip to Athens in 2019. Looking forward to this. Should be exciting games.

Yeah I think this is great for college football fans. They've never met in the regular season and only have met once in their programs history. As an ND fan it's going to be awesome seeing them play between the hedges. I absolutely loved the series ND had with the vols in the early 2000's and mid 2000's. Playing in Knoxville was amazing.

ND now has gamed scheduled against UGA, Michigan State, Stanford, USC, and Navy. Plus the 5 ACC opponents, not sure who they will be at this point. Just brutal already.

I've always respected UGA's non conf schedule. They seem to always schedule another high quality opponent even with Ga. Tech on the schedule every year.

Very excited to go to ND. Been on campus before, just not for a game. Will also make sure I am in Sanford Stadium for that game!

Georgia won 17-10, Herchel Walker had 150 yards rushing, but Georgia had 127 yards total offense. The rest of the team totaled -23 yards. Georgia won the NC.

Hell, I was alive when Joe Paterno became a head coach. I watched Terry Hanratty be coached by Ara Parseghian at Notre Dame. I watched Joe THEESMAN play at Notre Dame. Notre Dame changed the pronounciation of his name for the HIGHSMAN race.

I was born in '90, so I missed this one too.

But I've heard my dad talk about it a couple times, lol. Don't think he was a huge Walker fan.

He was so good it was crazy. (in college) but we had a better team that year, we just didn't show it that day.

Weird to think that the Irish teams you remember and the Irish teams I've grown up watching, are polar opposites.
