Twas the night before football
and all through the forum
nobody could sleep
because of TB's drunken snorin'
The beef and the pork
were all rubbed with great care
in hopes that Saint Corso
soon would be there
The fans were all nestled
all snug in their beds
while visions of a 22nd century Marital-aid looking trophy
danced in their heads
With me in my Crimson
shirt, keyfob and cap
I had longingly prepared
to wake up from my nap
When out in the alley
there arose such a ruckus
I sprang from the Barcalounger
slipped and got an autographed Heisman replica stuck in my tookus (really....I slipped)
When what to my still tearing eyes did envision
but a decked out media room with 8 televisions
mini-fridge, massaging La-Z-boy and laptop tray
massaging La-Z-boy? that sounds kinda ghey
This is all I could think of
and that's ok by me
now let's shut the fuck up about the offseason
and play some goddamn football.
