No interest in Luongo, but I've wanted Zids traded for awhile. He's probably the best combination of being expendable and having trade value. If a team is in need of a puck moving blue liner he's their man. Throw in an AHL guy and a pick and get the goal scorer we desperately need Lou.

From what I read online last year, he was pretty universally loathed by the Wild fans. I also understood him to not have been very well liked by the players, who found him to be an attitude case.

The attitude was probably him needing a change of scenery. Him and Elias are good friends so I'd imagine he's happier in NJ. He's just not responsible enough defensively for my liking, and the Devils have enough guys that fit the same mold on D (Greene, Tallinder, Harrold, Larsson).
