Meh, this is all on Gillis - You can't blame Luongo for taking the cap circumvention contract and the asking price for Bobby Lou was way too high (and/or the Canucks refused to eat much of Luongo's salary).

The track record for Mike Gillis as GM of the Canucks is not as great as some in the media portray it to be. Yes, President's trophies essentially because the rest of the NW division was god-awful.

Would be nice to know the final deal between the Sabres and Wild.

Hearing high picks were also involved.

Lol you bastard jstew.

Fml, I hate that scumbag. Hopefully the 3rd rounder is the Sharks and not the Panthers.

1) Why don't you post on the SJ board anymore? Did I miss something?

2) Don't think SJ has a 3rd round pick so it has to be Florida's, which is pretty much a 2nd round pick?

Seems the Jackets and Rags have been talking for days and Jarmo sees Gabby as a "Long term solution"

Vinny Prospal was part of the discussions and helped convince Gaborik to waive the NMC.

Well, sometimes you have to admit your mistakes and take what you perceive to be less than what you wanted for not only the player, but also for the team moving forward. Not surprised that smug Mike Gillis has difficulty in that department.

Down Goes Brown @DownGoesBrown 42m

Torres deal is tough for Coyotes ownership, but hey, not like you can deny reality when it’s obvious someone needs to be moved.

Apparently the Caps just made some huge move and have told all local media they should be at GMGM's presser.

I don't even know if we are selling or buying. I guess it depends on which pant leg he has rolled up when he walks out.
