Just look what Tristan is doing so far this year

2. A stat-line of 16.4 pts, 11.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 blocks, 0. steals a game.

those are career highs in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. He is also shooting 54% from the floor and hit the first 3 of his career

3. He has been an amazing leader. From Beilen and Love:

100% correct. Isn't even that I don't like Bam. More than solid player and as you said he's a nice value for a while.

but the idea 30 of 30 GMs are taking Bam based on current ability (and Bam being at a "whole 'nother level") is absurd.

Really wish there was a way to get him to the Clips in a fair deal that helps both teams to help them out, but I don't see it.

I like Bam too.

to be honest him and Thompson are extremely similar in a ton of ways. Both guys have great work ethics. Both guys are quick and agile enough to guard the perimeter as well as guard inside. Both guys are very solid rebounders (though Thompson's the better rebounder). Thompson's passing has improved but Bam looks like he could be a very good passing big man so ill give Bam that. Neither are "pure" shot blockers but both are very good defenders. Neither are great offensive players but both take advantage of their opportunities.

Honestly when Bam was drafted I instantly thought the best comp in the NBA for him was Thompson from skillset to intangibles.

It's a shame the Heat couldn't get Whiteside and Butler on the same team.

i dont think the NBA would allow that level of asshole on the same team.

Especially on a team where Riley is the GM and that also employs Waiters and Olnyk.

If Asshole Level was a rating like in NBA Live or in Madden the Heat would have been #1 in the league by a huge margin.
