I think you mean Jarome is too high and I agree - In the 25-29 range for me.

Ryan Suter should be higher than #43 as well.

Also, why does Henrik Lundqvist get so much love?!? At some point, don't you have to carry your team to at least the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Its just me being very homerish, but Kopitar & Doughty just out of the top 20 is ridiculous. Barring any major injuries, I really think these two will surpass last seasons point totals and make a definite impact this year.

Corey Perry being in the top 10 is a joke, there is no way he will hit the 50 goal mark or even come close to it this year, to me that was a statistical anomaly.

11 shutouts on a fairly shitty team seems pretty special.

I can agree with that, but tell me, if you had to pick a goalie to win a must game, there are a few goalies in the league I would pick before Lundqvist.

/He's a snappy dresser though.

IMO, Rick Nash is too high. Not a PPG player (close) and hasn't been able to achieve any team success. If there isn't individual success or the team moving forward, what are we basing this on? He's not a player you build around, but rather an elite secondary player.

Tavares, Spezza, M. Koivu and Krejci don't make the list but Jeff Skinner does? I would hope this needs little explanation. That is no slight to Skinner but all of these players are better and more accomplished.

Tim Thomas is too low.

The top 10 is pretty reasonable.

Do you know why what Perry did last season was so impressive? Getzlaf missed a bunch of games due to injury. With a healthy Getzlaf, Perry will put up similar numbers.

Skinner at 50 is wrong. Luongo at 41 is funny. I think they have a bunch of defenseman too high. Doughty isn't a top 20 player in the league. I mean Alex Pietrangelo put up similar numbers last season.

Sharks on the list at 29, 39 and 49.

Even though Jumbo Jim dropped below a point a game the trade off was he led the league in takeaways and led his team to their second WCF in a row. I think he is underrated at 29.

2nd best career save% in history, and you are pissed because he's ranked the 6th highest goalie.
let it go, it's becoming beyond tiresome

Luongo has an outstanding team in front of him. It's no surprise he has good numbers. I honestly believe he took far too much of the blame for the loss to the Bruins. The Sedins deserve as much if not more blame than Luongo does.

he had 2 shutouts and the team in front of him scored 8 goals

Kesler had a bum hip Raymond had a broken back so it was easy pickins for Seidenberg and Chara to key in and neutralize the Sedins.

we all know these things

I don't care who the defense paring they're going up against. How many goals did they combine for in the series 1? I'm sorry, but the Sedins deserve more blame than Luongo for the loss to Boston. Superstars are supposed to get it done when it counts. They weren't able to do so.

I see you like to assign blame ... I take a shotgun approach ... total team is to blame

you cant say "the Sedins deserve more blame than Luongo for the loss to Boston" and then in the next sentence say superstars are supposed to get it done when it counts when Luongo shat the bad (or bed- lol) in the games at Boston

the forces of nature conspired against the canucks :thumb:

Agreed.

The Nucks lost to the (barely) better team.
