Yup. I actually think VV is an underrated actor, and I like him in serious roles as much as comedic.
They were all over the place in episode one. I'm getting the feeling season 2 isn't going to hold a candle to season 1.
I agree with you. It just seems very jumbled to follow around like 5 main characters compared to 2. We'll see if they can make it come together. So far Paul Woodrugh seems to be a superfluous character.Season 1 was the idea they probably had for years and pitched to HBO to make a tv show. Season 2 is what they started thinking about once HBO decided they needed more. But season 1 was only a hit because Woody gave the performance of his lifetime, and then McConaughey blew that completely out of the water. I don't think k the writing will be near as good for season 2, what remains to be seen is if this new group of actors can catch lightning in a bottle again.
I'm watching to find out though. I don't know how anybody could not watch after the first season.
seen them both.....clay pidgeons is a farce, his character is a cartoon and his character isnt driving the story in R2P enough to warrant it as a full display of his serious acting. He is a main character here and has the chance to show it all, so i hope he can deliver.Take you haven't seen Clay Pidgeons or Return to Paradise?

So he has taken 2 shotgun blasts, one of them up close and to the gut.
If the don't kill him, lazy writing.
If they do kill him, bait and switch having a big-name actor advertised as the big draw for the season and killing him in ep 2.
Not a fan so far.

am a fan if it means Tim Riggins gets more air time
Ehhhhh
Easily the weakest actor of the bunch
No kidding. His role in episode 1 was completely pointless except for finding the body.Ehhhhh
