we did see him once before at the closed school. HArt is in the car and Cohle is talking to him at a distance. And then Hart starts honking his horn to get Cohle back to the car. Never had a chance to notice his scars and i think he did have a beard then too. Someone on the NHL board suggested that the green ears of the spaghetti monster description are ear protection headphones used by landscapers.

Tuttles are definitely involved. They were doing some shady shit with the 14 schools and the picking off of the kids. And yes, the man with the scars, finally.

Yep, I should have stated that we know who the man with the scars is. You could see the scars when Marty honks, he turns his head.

The spaghetti monster could just be a mask as well.

What ? Nothing ? Anyway I liked the way they tied things up without going off in some crazy direction. It was more about the relationship between Rust & Marty and the development of their characters anyway. Great show. Harrelson & MM will be a tough act to follow next season.

That was cool for sure.

But I wanted more people to go down, or at least some indication of who else was involved.
Rust was pissed they didn't get them all, and that was it...WTF?? lol

I thought Maggie was going to kill Marty at the hospital, she had some strange facial expressions going on..

I kind of thought we would get a more complete conclusion but they made a great season. You know you did a good job when people want more of it after the finale.

Two things about the finale I thought were quite interesting. First, the two main characters finally became friends in the final episode. Second, the first season was tied up so neatly in the finale that the series could end where it left off and still be very good, though, fortunately, there is presumably more forthcoming.
