So that's kinda interesting. Does this mean Sanchez doesn't suit up? Thoughts?

Where did you read this? Literally just a couple of hours ago, Jeff Dickerson reported that there had been no depth chart released and that most presume it will be Sanchez.

That growth, Loggains said, wasn't necessarily surprising. "It's just happened faster than anticipated. But he deserves a ton of credit. Because he works his tail off in virtual reality and studying his playbook and watching (film on) his iPad. With all those things, he has earned the spot and put himself in position to be successful."

Lol... Did I just read an actual football coach saying that? Welcome to the future, I do suppose.

here's my issue with it... The coaches painted themselves into a corner. When Glennon throws his first pick or fumbles a snap or simply misses a 3rd down pass it going to rev up the HOME crowd to call for Mitch. I don't think he's ready yet. I want him to get at least a month or 2 on the bench and on the plane for road trips, find somewhere to live...(yeah, as of a week ago he was still living in a hotel) I want him to learn how to be a PRO, and that, that means... before he's counted on to win games. And this whole tough start to the schedule thing could really set him back if forced to play. He has the tools, I'm concerned about the tools in the stands and the out of town stupid media.

If they waited and named Mark the #2 I don't see as much heat on the staff to bench Glennon as quickly as there would be with the enticing Mitch just one play away.

And what if the worst happens- Glennon goes down early. Injured. If Sanchez was #2 we could still have HOPE for Mitch. The good vibes would last longer. IF Mitch plays and gets beat up in the first few weeks, I fear he would get labeled. I don't want that. I dunno, just makes me nervous.

I think Sanchez is nursing an undisclosed injury.

Dude, I know that I've said this before. However, the degree with which you get caught up in what the average fan's opinion is, is ridiculous.

I think the majority of your opinions on this team, somehow are related to a fear of what the damn fans are going to say. Not to mention, 100% of your opinions related to the QB position.

You're the only one I know of, who cares to THIS level.

The average fan of any sport is an idiot. Basketball and football coaches have understood this for a century. Baseball, about a century and a half. lol.

The first professional team sporting event in United States history, was the first Major League Baseball game played. Which occurred on May 4th, 1871 between Cleveland and Ft. Wayne. I would venture to guess by May 4th, 1872... Those guys were completely over what their fans were saying in the stands. lol

They don't make their decisions based on what the fans are crying for, it's nothing but exterior white noise. So, please... stop getting so caught up in it. They certainly are not.

Vietnam vets wake up screaming in the middle of the night, dreaming that they're in the jungle running from mortar fire.

Mark Sanchez wakes up screaming in the middle of the night, dreaming that he's headed full-speed and face-first into one of his big lineman's ass! "NO! IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN!"
