I think it’s rate of spread is kinda nuts too - you get one guy on a ship with 2000 who came in contact with it and then 10%+ of the ship is ill.

Hopefully the warmer weather coming up works to kill it but, again, we could’ve just isolated China fucking immediately and likely avoided what’s now happening and we didn’t despite the fact this is exactly what happened last time - China wasn’t forthright with what was happening, it spread like crazy and people died needlessly instead of inconveniencing their economy which ended up happening anyway.

yah there was no stopping this. US was first to stop flights from china and now theyve got community spread. The time to stop flights was 3 weeks before it got into the news cycle
