Stealing this from a poster I greatly respect from another board because he makes some very good points here:

Being impeached is deeply humiliating for him, even when the Senate does not confirm. Also, he probably understands he will be indicted for crimes when he leaves office. Gates got a soft sentence for cooperating with on-going investigations. He must have turned over some serious evidence as part of the deal. This was kind of overlooked yesterday.

What was your wife looking at? I mean, I know my work computer gets those ads, and all I use this internet connection for is wasting time on SportsHoopla, watching British television shows on YouTube, and searching for various wires and pieces of metal and whatnot for research.

I guess what I'm getting at is when did your wife turn into me? Since clearly mine is the internet history which leads to those ads.

(My home computer doesn't get them, and I only use it to look up recipes, so recipes are safe.)
