many moons ago I took a train from Budapest to Vienna.
all through Hungary and Slovakia, the coffee from the cart was about $0.40 equivalent.
As soon as we passed into Austria, same guy, same cart, same coffee, was about $8.00

i found that pretty hilarious (largely because I don't drink very much coffee)
Pretty much worth being behind the iron curtain for 40 years so coffee could remain affordable.

In austria (and toronto) they use(d) cotton candy ... in the former iron curtain countries, they used batt insulation :noidea:

performance of Madame Butterfly, for like $20.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure what I posted is fake/was scripted.
But, it gets used in a lot of places and is always worth a chuckle or two, especially when two people wind up in a heated discussion.
