That poll says a quarter of respondents think there's too much "visible minority immigration", which would probably correlate with the percentage of Americans who think likewise. So we're about even.

The rest who think things are out of control are probably the ones who see homeless shelters turning away actual homeless people because they're loaded with refugees awaiting processing, a system that's been stretched thin pretty much the entire time Trudeau's been PM and the fact that the US isn't adhering to the "safe third party" agreement with regards to irregular crossers.

We don't have a very sparkling track record with how we've treated our indigenous folks, that's for sure. I think things have gotten worse in the last 10 years or so though as far as general tolerance is concerned, regardless of race, creed etc.
