We've all encountered people who can't admit when they make mistakes, generally these people are not the brightest and feel threatened when they are in a room with people who are smarter than they are. They also have to be loud and brash because they know they can't measure up to people around them. It's been my practice to ignore those type of people and seek out the quiet, confident ones who know what they are doing.
Sounds like most of the loudmouth politicos that constantly rant in my office. I just sit back quietly knowing that I can't fix stupid.

Pop down to Starbucks for a coffee and they were playing 43's favourite song - Yup, you guessed it, Sister Sledge's We are Family.

Donald Trump is a horse's rump, so to save time and words, I'm just going to call him Donald Rump.

Okay, now it's no longer he actually said his last name, now he simply omitted it to save time.

How fucking hard is it to say "yeah, I said the wrong thing..." and laugh it off?

(Not hard at all. Because I do it often.)
You could even joke it off by saying something like "Tim is a common name, so I call him Tim Apple as a nickname."

No reason to make up a story because calling him Tim Apple isn't disparaging as long as it's done in a friendly way.

So if Dion Weisler of Hewlett Packard is visiting, will you call him Dion Hewlett Packard? Because that doesn't save time.

Also, how were "forrest" and "hamberders" time savers?

He just mixed it up because he forgot the guy's last name or whatever. Because he's old. He's 72. Which is why we should have an age limit of 65 at the time you take the oath of office.

Giving people from the age of 35 to 65 is plenty of time and catches leaders in their prime. We have too many confused old idiots running our government trading on their reputation rather than their ability.

Because even if you bring back Jagr at 47, you don't put him on your top line.
