I also like west coasters who stereotype all prairie terrain as flat as fuck when that's not the case at all. Plenty of steep hills both in Calgary and Medicine Hat to negotiate.
I meant regina winnipeg lol but caman dash ... is there stuff like westwood plateau, the north shore, burnaby mountain, even south surrey down into white rock in the calgary area?
There are certainly some steep grades in the Calgary area - 14th Avenue comes to mind leading into downtown along with certain sections of Sarcee and Crowchild Trail. Maybe not quite as bad as Burnaby Mountain and the North Shore, but no easy feat when it's icy out either.
/Also, who had the brilliant idea to build SFU at the top of a steep hill lol
/snow closures at exam time at sfu worked out well for the unprepared
That's a first!I forgot to add previously that jstew is absolutely correct when he states that we do have a ton of Alberta fuckwads in BC that drive their F350's the same way regardless of conditions.
Much of southern Quebec also remained under a storm warning after about 30 centimetres of snow fell in Montreal, forcing the closure of schools and travel hiccups Tuesday. Schools in Ottawa remained closed Wednesday as the city continued to dig out from the storm. We'll try to re-open on Thursday.
