@HaroldSeattle ..those Seachickens are already making me wanna go back to respecting them enough to say Seahawks again.

Likely two new starting OT's, and a big hoss at RB, when they didn't have a QB ..That's what you do

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Good thing is they had few true needs, and they didn't use a #1 one a "luxury".

I dunno about this new Bears WR...never heard of the kid
Seems like our new GM Poles is taking a page out of Hoodie's draft book.
Or worse, out of old GM Ryan Pace's draft book.
:L

CBS gave the pick a B+ surprisingly:

Height: 6-0, Weight: 204
YAC phenom in the Deebo Samuel mold. Kick-return specialty appears when he's catching the ball on offense. Not a route-running specialist. Crazy timed speed. Doesn't quite play to that level. Old prospect who's already 25. If he was younger, he'd have gone much earlier. Special with the ball in his hands. (Chris Trapasso)

Love this draft for them, really grabbed good talent and filled needs at the same time. I’m pumped.

Liking the Ravens draft too thus far..
Return to intimidating defense, let Lamar, Dobbins, Edwards just run all day, we don't need no WR's. (Maybe Duvernay is ready to step up?)

Interested to see if there are more player trades, I kinda doubt it but I wouldn’t expect anything less with the crazy offseason and round 1.

Interested to see who drafts Ojabo. Could be a team not looking to contend this year/tanking or a contender that has little to no needs. That will be interesting.

In Round 2 & 3
4 - QB - Willis, Corral, Ridder, Howell
5 - RB - Hall, Walker, Cook, Robinson, Spiller
8 - WR - Watson, Moore, Pickens, Metchie, Pierce, Tolbert, Austin, Robinson, Bell, maybe Shakir
4 - TE - McBride, Dulcich, Ruckert, maybe Woods
3 QB’s - Ridder, Willis, Corral
6 RB’s - Hall, Walker, Cook, White, Davis-Price, Robinson Jr
11 WR’s - Watson, Robinson, Metchie, Thornton, Pickens, Pierce, Moore, Jones Jr, Tolbert, Bell, Gray
4 TE’s - McBride, Woods, Dulcich, Ruckert

Crazy on some of those. White, Davis Price, Robinson Jr., W. Robinson, Metchie, Jones Jr., Bell, Dulcich, Ruckert, ...didn't figure them going until the 4th, or later..some went in the 2nd.

Yeah some of them were projected 3rd but then about half of them expected to be drafted in the 4th or so and the order was kinda crazy. You just never know.

The Pats take a projected 3rd round guard in the 1st and a projected 5th round WR in the 2nd

Are they?? Not the picks I was hoping for. But I knew I was going to be wrong.

I also hate the wr they got. Was hoping for London. But of course he was taken already. But from what I have heard, I would have preferred all the WRs taken so far over him. And I think I would have wanted Olave the most.

But the nice part is that Wilson can throw to Wilson.

Sauce Gardner might be the best player in the draft. He is awesome.

Wilson seems like a pretty safe bet in a super deep WR class.

Johnson looks like a stud and Breece Hall could be the best RB in class.

Not sure about the Jets needs, but it sure looks like they got some really good players.

only one QB taken in the 1st..first itme in 20 years.

WHo was it that said that? @Clayton ?? @Shanemansj13 ?? either way..nice forecasting. now all those QB needy teams that have a bridge guy..the Wentz's, the Marriota's, etc.. can take a much lower risk and draft one of those dudes and not feel forced into playing them day one, develop them..maybe one or two end up being something, rather than thrown to the wolves and washing out in 3-4 years. Its not longer just Seattle, PITT and Carolina that might take a hard look at them. NO, INDY, heck, anyone who needs a QB2 and might be loioking at a change in two- three years is in play for a QB in round 2

I said they all sucked and none worth drafting in round 1, but never would have predicted the falls that Willis, Corrals and Ridder took.

Finally a 2nd QB...and it ain't Willis..wunderlik..it lives

I promise you the NFL scouts don’t care about the Wonderlik. Mahomes had a bad Wonderlik score. It is irrelevant.

Mahomes was middle of the pack. Vince Young had a bad one.

I wouldn’t call it irrelevant.
I’d call running a 40 irrelevant.
How high can you jump? Irrelevant.
Bench press. Irrelevant.
Run across the field and catch five passes with nobody around you… very irrelevant.

Skill can overcome wonderlic. But I wouldn’t say irrelevant. It’s just another combine tack to tick.

I bet there’s a bunch of teams that wish they took it a little more seriously in the 2000 draft.

It really is.

There is better, more relevant stuff out there.

There is better, more relevant...you cannot convince me that it is not relevsnt nor that they do not care though...far too much correlation of bad scores having bad results for them to not care, and frankly ive seen and heard multiple inyerviews with scouts and GM's stating that it is relevant and that they care....just what it is

This is why I dont know why fans get upset about drafting a guy that only got a 4 on the RAS and ran a 4.6. DaVante Adams ran a 4.57, plenty of other examples. Kinda makes me excited about David Bell, the guy just constantly produced and made tough catches but he is slow…so he sucks. These experts have burnt all this into everyones’ minds. Fast and strong does not equal good or great NFL player.

Honestly, I’m so sick of the Browns “having a good draft” on paper and then I see those players do little on the field. It’s kind of refreshing, I don’t like their draft so the players will probably be good. Idk kind of just sick of these experts telling us who will be good and who won’t be good. Their success rate is very low.

The Jets killed it imo so take that for what it’s worth.
Gardner is in a tier alone at CB imo. It’s difficult seeing him not being a pro bowler. Safe pick but also he has a very high ceiling.
Wilson was also a safe pick, I feel like his floor his high and he also has a higher ceiling. I think his boom/bust is lower than London’s but London is difficult to project imo.
Breece Hall was also a stud. Pissed Carter is splitting with him now though.
