Crap just saw there is a small chance they are closing off practice to the public on Wednesday. I guess it rained close to 4 inches in one hour and now the practice field looks like a small lake. Do they realize I took off work a few days so I could come up and see the team? Hopefully they get that all cleared off.

Anyway beyond that some really interesting comments from Chris Harris today. Now maybe this is just him blowing smoke but he said that this year in practice it has been a lot harder to defend against the offense. I'm guessing since the whole switch towards a balance offense is what he is talking about.

He also said that Peyton looks and is playing much different this year than in years past. He said that Manning looks like he changed his diet/training program during the off season and just looks much better.

Interesting remarks from Harris. Might be a combination of the new schemes on both sides of the ball, in addition to Manning's rejuvenation.

Those comments from Harris is exactly what Kubiak and others have said that with 2 te sets, FB, O-line scheme( zone blkg), play action,etc it's really hard for defenses to get a good read as to where to be. There is much more for a defender to think about. You are able to do a lot of more misdirection and cause more confusion,etc . You still have to be capable of deep ball threat as well which Manning can still do. If one of the best cover corners is the league is saying that, then that says a lot for this offense. I'm sure it will take some time for this O-line and the rest to gel but by mid season if they all stay healthy, good things are ahead for sure with this staff and it's players

Saw pictures of the field today and it looks like they got the lake cleared from the field! Good chance unless another rain storm comes through that I will get to see practice. I have never been to training camp before so excited to see what is in store. Have to give you guys a full report when I get back.

Yep. The team released its first depth chart yesterday, though it will almost surely change several times before the season begins.

I do think Garcia and Paradis stick at their positions. I have heard so many good things from pretty much all that have been at camp so far on those two. Unfortunately I do question whether Ben Garland now makes this team. He has been a great story but I think his playing days with the Broncos end when they cut down to the final 53.

Yeah, I remember Garland as a good DE at AFA. He had a big game against my Houston Cougars, so I was hoping that he could make the transition to OL. If Garcia is the better player, though, then I am obviously happy for him to earn the job.

Yeah I had hoped Garland could do well this year. From what I understand he has been possibly the hardest working player on the entire team this off season. Sometimes though others are just a little more gifted. Effort while a great plus can only get you so far. Maybe he surprises me and still makes the team but from what I understand he has struggled quite a bit since the pads came on.

Be interesting to see Bolden as a PR. He really filled the void as a KR last year but I wasn't sure his game would include returning punts especially in college. Whatever gets him on the field I suppose.

Read hammers response. It isn't a forever thing. More of a protection against trolls but sounds like he lifted the restriction so hopefully that helps. This is a great board! The bronco one has slowly been growing and would love to get some more for sure. I am the board moderator here for the Broncos so any questions or concerns let me know. Also we do a fantasy football league if any of the new people would like to join just let me know.

I hope so. These young guys need to be out there, not people like Shelley Smith and Gradkowski. I also wonder if Chris Clark will make this team since he isn't too much of a zone guy.

Might be tough to cut Clark in case Sambrailo struggles. I think that Clark is the only player on our roster to have started a game at LT.
