If you have another good TE, then deal 1 looks like an awesome move for you. Cam is set to blow up assuming the Panthers OC continues to let him run and Megatron is the best buy low target in fantasy football right now.

As for deal 2, I like this one in theory, but you are taking some risk here. The deal hinges on the return of SJax, which is up in the air. With the Falcons struggling and their offensive line not up to par, I would temper expectations upon his return. The numbers he puts up might not be so great.

Regardless though, DJax looks like a top 10 WR, so even if you get nothing from SJax, you net a WR who can start week in and week out in return for a top player at a relatively easy position to replace talent.

Nice work.

Hah. Did not even see the inclusion of RG3 on deal 2. He is also set for a breakout. This one looks even better for you than I originally thought.

I don't get when people ask for thoughts on their trades without stating the other players they have at those positions.

No one could possibly tell you if you got better, unless you show us who else you have at the positions you compromised and got better at.

I can tell you who gave or got more talent, but there's no way of telling if you got better.

Judging by this guy's avatar, I wouldn't take anything he says seriously about RGIII.

No one is more unreliable when it comes to fantasy football, than a fan talking about players on the team that he roots for. Especially his favorite player, or a player he really likes. Which is clearly the case here.

This is why I never draft Chicago Bears players. I passed up on Forte, Marshall, and Martellus Bennett this year. That never ends up good.

RGIII is poised for a breakout? Really? I'm not trying to be a dick here, but please... watch one of your Skins games from a neutral perspective. RGIII is clearly not 100%, and on top of that, is throwing the ball very poorly. He was 3 of 15 with an INT in his pass attempts over 10 yards vs Dallas. That's really not good. His offensive line is also shit right now.

RGIII is good in a keeper league, but no honest person would tell you that you should feel comfortable with him as your starter. The sophomore year is the toughest for QB's. This isn't uncommon at all.

I can assure you bud, that Tlance is not the biased type. Just because his avatar has RG3 on it, doesn't mean he would give advice or use his own advice for anything other than getting better.

Well, RG3 is just starting to "run", so his fantasy productivity will follow... he basically just had his preseason (plus one), so I expect him to start getting on track too.

Thanks for the support guys.

FYI, I am no homer in fantasy sports, I play to win.

On my 5 teams, I own a total of 2.5 Redskins.

I own Pierre Garcon in the message board league because he was the best WR on my board in the 6th round.

In my 14 team keeper league, I own Alfred Morris because I drafted him in the 15th round last year and was able to keep him this year in the 11th. I spent a 10th round pick on Helu only to protect my "keeper" because they are vary hard to find given the restrictions in this league. That is it.

I did not draft RG3 on a single team because I didn't think he was ready to play. Now I feel like he is getting closer, so he makes for a nice buy low. Many people like you have already written him off.

The latest news is that RG3 plans to run more and Shanny is on board. He is not throwing the ball as well as he did last year, but he has looked a little better overall every week. The reason that the Redskins offense was so terrible in weeks 1-4 was because opposing defenses did not have to account for RG3's most lethal weapon; his legs. Now they will, and receivers will be more open as a result.

Since I thought trade 2 was potentially a good deal for him even without RG3, why wouldn't it be better with RG3?

RG3 may not be able to stay healthy, but he will be a top 10 QB from now until his next injury. Bank on that.

I can vouch for that as well. Tlance is one of the most stand-up guys in fantasy sports that I know.

As for the trades, I love #2. I think that the Pack will be leaning more and more heavily toward the run whether Rodgers likes it or not. Add to that the loss of Cobb, and I think that's a slam-dunk deal.

Caveat: I have been known to be wrong on occasion...:laugh3:

My fault for intruding then. I wasn't saying the guy isn't smart, I simply said that ANYONE should be considered unreliable when giving fantasy advice about favorite players on their favorite teams.

It's only natural that you have certain emotions attached to your favorite players. Which clouds judgement.

Just don't make assumptions about things you don't know to be true. It isn't like I made any crazy claims in the original post. I understand your point about personal bias as we all do have them. Still though, be careful when you call people out.

Anyhow, moving on, thanks again for the support everyone....:suds:

A little better than my negative 1 from Cutler. I am about to lose to the 2nd lowest score in the league in that 1.
