I think it's much more likely we limp into playoffs and get destroyed. It's actually better in the long term to get a good draft pick. I usually don't take this tact but this team has shown me very little this season.

I dont think getting 1 pick this draft is going to put us over the top and turn us into a powerhouse so i dont mind getting into the playoffs and kicking some Crosby ass.

I think our chances at the #1 or #2 pick are greater than us winning the Cup this year. Besides that, I'd take a pick anywhere in the top 5.

Yeah, I hear ya. I think that team was a good and healthy team that just wasn't playing up to expectations for much of the year. This year's team is 1. unhealthy and 2. has major holes in the line up.

I'm usually optimistic but I just don't see it this year.

I said it before and I'll say it again boys. The Rags fucked up big by breaking up the chemistry by trading for Nash. Dubinsky and Prust were killing us. Now by adding Clowe, it may get worse for the Rags.
