Team B's David Wright and Yordano Ventura

team B gets the best player in the deal... and the 2nd players in the deal are both nothing special, so to me team B gets the better of the deal... and it isnt even close... David Wright is just too good to be included in this trade...

Masterson is closer to the end of his rope than the start. Ventura hasn't even used his rope yet and "projects" to be very useful, albeit most likely a few years away from fantasy production. Arenado can only hope to be David Wright minus the steals, but his great defense will keep him around in the league (hopefully as a Rockie, best place for him) for a long time. Speaking of ropes, Wright isn't looking much further for the end of his either, when we're talking dynasty.

Whoever ends up with Wright and Ventura wins, but if Masterson can duplicate what he did last year (unlikely) then it is much closer than it looks on the cover.
