The d'backs have to trade Kennedy. Getting him off the team would be such a huge momentum turner for the team. He has so much negative energy around him right now. Trading him for a baseball bat would improve the d'backs.

I have a feeling that if we traded him for a dollar, it would be a momentum boost. This team doesn't enjoy playing for Ian, management needs to realize this.

Yeeee. I'm just praying Kennedy gets traded. At this point it really can't get much worse... I'd trust Skaggs, Spruill, McCarthy and Cahill over him.

I really hope we trade for a lefty reliever that's controlled through next year at least. Even if we don't contend this year it's something we will need in the future anyways.

I think that the market is a little high for a guy like pervert but it may not have been a bad deal. The white will likely come out ahead and it is an additional bench boost for the tigers. The Red Sox just found their second or third pitcher for a deep playoff run.

Perfect trade for the Dbacks: We trade Kubel, Miggy, Putz, and Kennedy to the Phillies for Cliff Lee and Dominic Brown. Brown is batting .271 with 24 homers and Lee is 10-4 with a 3.05 ERA. Phillies need a good catcher, bullpen help, and Brown would be replaced by another power hitting LF. We also could throw in cash as well.

I am happy the d'backs did not make a trade for Peavy. It would have cost them way too much. I also do not want them to trade for Bud Norris. Has anybody looked at this guy's last three starts? He has given up 16 earned runs in his last 17 innings. His era is 3.93. No point of trading for a guy like that.

Getting Cliff Lee would change everything. We would go from a team on the verge of falling out of contention to a team with a huge boost.

Davidson will be good but I have my concerns, his K rate is too high, he is a statue at 3B, and his average isn't that impressive considering he plays in the PCL.

I'd do that deal.

Phils were asking a higher ranked prospect than Bradley from the Red Sox for Lee. It would take no less than Bradley + Skaggs / Holmberg + more to get him sadly. Lee is pretty much out of the discussion for us.

Why is Owings still in AAA? He is batting a freakin .347, 12 homers, 67 RBI's. He could spark something in the dbacks offense if he was brought up.

The team hates Kennedy you can tell, when he is shown in the dugout he is often alone. And I know the rest of the team hates him for igniting the Dodgers and jump starting their season. Not to mention he is a terrible pitcher on top of that.

Yeah the only thing about Norris better than Peavy was the contract but I still do not want Norris.

Kennedy is a cancer, just like Upton. Take him off the team and the rest of the team will play better knowing an omen was lifted and they won't have to deal with the burden of Kennedy.
