According to a couple CBS writers Kennedy to the Padres "could happen" and the Dbacks are interested in landing a late inning reliever for him. I doubt it happens but I'd be ecstatic if we could land Gregorsen or Thatcher for him.

The Ian Kennedy-to-the-Padres trade rumor has "legs," according to Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Passan.
CBS Sports' Jon Heyman also reports that the clubs are moving closer towards an agreement. Joe Thatcher would be a part of the package going to Arizona, according to Passan. The Snakes are undoubtedly sniffing around other San Diego relievers such as Huston Street, Joe Thatcher and Luke Gregerson as well. There appears to be plenty of smoke around this rumor. Keep your damn Kennedy to yourselves ... his only redeeming quality right now is that he beans Dodgers with regularity. Not worth a Gregerson or Thayer ... you can have some prospects for him though.

Kennedy might not be so bad for you guys. He gives up a lot of HR but its hard to hit them in Petco. Get ready for a lot of fly balls lol.

We have hit 3 HRs off him in our own park ... If we can do that with our less than stellar offense, just wait to see what power hitting teams will do. We didn't need the bump in our rotations ERA and to lose our best BP Lefty on left specialist and 2 other players -- you guys definitely got the better of this deal and we got a bigger payroll and not much improvement.
