According to Woj, Blazers don't think they are blowing it up. They think they will rebuild on the fly around Lillard

Well that and they aren't going to blow it up by bringing Westbrook to the team. That's the wrong kind of blow up.

They believe Simons is at least as good as powell if not McCollum. Or on that track.

Now they also have 2 top 10 picks and oodles of cap space

If Philly was smart ...they would be trying to trade Simmons for Lilliard.

Lilliard & Embiid would be a pick and roll nightmare.

It's a nice idea and I applaud them for trying but the the 2022 draft is weak and they are likely to get two picks right around 10 (unless things significantly change and they get to #5 or something). I doubt they can trade up until the top 3-5 too. Cap space likely does nothing for them but they can probably sign a handful of good role players. What star wants to go to Portland?

I think the way to go is to trade Lillard for the best offer possibly Simmons if he is still available then you have Simons, Simmons, two top 10 picks and cap space. I mean I still don't get it but they put themselves in this situation

Obviously we aren’t large in number. Hoop still has the old Kings logo for a reason…

They should’ve just kept Gary Trent.

It was pretty obvious a Norman Powell trade wasn’t going to put the Blazers over the top.
