Depending on price, I'm ok with this.
If only it means that we are out on Simmons.

Tiffoli has always played well against us

What high pick though? Gotta be a 2nd I guess

Really falls in line in value of forwards at this trade deadline.

Also losing Schaller doesn't affect the Canucks so that should be a good deal for them.

Madden is going to be a good 'un.
Don't like seeing him go, but losing Schaller makes up for it.

Coleman to Tampa for Nolan Foote and a first

Devils made out very well here.

Coleman is a nice player and all but he's 28 and his career high is 36 points. And that's on a bad Jersey team. Is he going to get ANY offensive opportunities on a stacked TB team?

I think Tampa got kind of ripped off here.

Nolan is a decent prospect and that 1st should be in the 15-22 range in potentially the best draft since 2003.

That's the way I saw it. His fancy stats aren't very good either. I guess the trade makes sense for TB as a "win now" deal

Every trade so far’s been an overpay to me.

If this is the market I’m fine with Dubas sitting this out. Can only imagine what a half decent defenceman would cost.
Yep and there is another rumor out there that the Bruins are interested in Josh Anderson. I can't wait to see what type of return the Jackets get for that even with the poor season.

Locally, we are hearing that there is sincere interest from Calgary and Montreal in Josh as well. So with three teams to play against each other, I hope the return is good.

Would be nice to bring Sean Kuraly home if it is indeed Boston who gets him.

I actually think that Hawryluk is a decent prospect who could end up being a good 3rd or 4th liner, but this is most likely just NHL filler. Gotta think that on or more of Pageau, Tierney, Namestnikov or Ennis gets dealt soon.
