Looks like RG3's time is nearly up in DC. Let's go get him. I kid!

Of course, Jeff Fisher on his radio show said he expects damaged goods to be starting under center next season. What a relief, I was going to buy Super Bowl tickets next season. You saved me a lot of money Jeff Fisher, thanks!

Redskins trying to trade him, lol. I'd consider a reclamation project if he was released, but not at that cost.

That's like the Cam Newton joke...

"Cam sure is getting A LOT better!

Hard to tell he never took an acting class watching his commercials these days"

He still has the pedigree of being drafted 2nd overall so there are still teams that will overpay for him. If what they are saying is true, that he has the yips, well then he isn't worth even an attempt to rehabilitate. Does anybody actually think he'd do any better under Shottenheimer's direction???

Maybe we can offer Washington Shottenheimer AND Bradford straight up for RG3. That would be a fair trade.

Bradford for RGIII That's an interesting concept Boss

How does that go down.

This may require it's own thread.

Why not? Trading one over-hyped, over-paid, injury prone prima donna QB for another. Neither have lived up to expectations so maybe a change of scenery would do them both a world of good. Of course
Fisher would then have a very legit reason to dispense with Shottenheimer. Unless he really wanted to finish RG3's career off for good. Can you imagine if RG3 had to go from Washington to Shottenheimer? He wouldn't even have the confidence to tie his own shoes after Shottenheimer was done with him.

You guys may be on to something. If anyone can get the most out of a player its Fisher. Bring in RGme with Bradford as a duel threat. Much like the Steelers with Kordell back in the day. Might work. Way to think outside the box guys. :yahoo:

I would like to stay away from these injury prone QBs.

I wouldn't necessarily put RG3 in the Bradford level of over-paid though. RG3 is only due about $3.3M next year (along with the pro-rated signing bonus of about $3.4M) and it is the last year of his contract. Compared to Bradford's $13M + $3.6M? Or even Shaun Hill's $1.75M?

Good point Shopson. When you put it that way, RG3 looks like a bargain compared to Bradford. Dollar for dollar, Bradford's ineptitude is far more expensive than RG3's.

Split it down the middle pay them 10 mil apiece and bring in Johnny Football for competition. We might as well shoot the moon!
