Easy majors most likely. No way an athlete can do well in a class that takes a lot of your time and you have to be enrolled full time. I mean they would have to cut out a social life.

For instance, I don't think an athlete can do as well as me in Statistics or Biology, which are hard courses to get an A in and I got them. I don't know if they would do well in foreign languages like Spanish either.

Macroeconomics and English on the other hand are pretty easy. And those Business major classes.

I got an A in Statistics. B+ in microeconomics. B+ in Chemistry. etc.

And I was enrolled full time... I also worked full time (40 hrs)... I also have two children... my kids mother also had cancer during that time and I had to stay nights in the hospital and take her to her treatment appointments, etc. And that is all true.

Did I have a social life as well? Yes... not a great one. I maybe went out with friend like twice a month or so.

I prioritized my situation. Family. Work. School. Social.


It can be done if they actually put in the effort. No excuses

They aren't one homogeneous mass. Plenty of football players graduate with STEM degrees every year. Sure as a whole they typically don't perform at the level of other students for a multitude of reasons, or even at the level of other student athletes, but saying that there isn't one that can get an A in Statistics or Biology...lol, climb on down off your horse your highness, there are literally thousands that did that this year. They are few and far between at D1 Schools, but that is only half of the college football players in the country.

Is it harder than doing it as a regular student, sure it is, but many schools do what they can with priority registration for classes and labs and flexible scheduling to try and accommodate the student athletes that are trying to challenge themselves athletically and academically.

The guy that does these statistics things is one of the best recruiting tools yet. Every UW target who tweets gets a retweet from that guy with some good statistical stuff.
