I will never understand why teams don't take every precaution before inking/committing to a player on a long term deal.

Send every player you're considering giving a multi year/multi money dollar contract over to the Copper Clinic and let them do "everything."

Kazmir went 1.1 tonight. He had thrown 41 pitches and walked 3/1 hit. But still 41 pitches is pretty quick to pull a starter.

Jaramillo..I love this idea...

I felt like something wasn't quite right between Rudy and the FO when he left. Can't put my finger on it, but just didn't seem like a "mutual decision." And he only last 2 seasons in Chicago, and no one's picked him up since 2012.
