Grieve just said he could see Burhle winning 260 games or so before his career is over. Hmmmmmmmmm.......really? He's 35, has 193 Ws now, and averages about 15 W per year.

Unlikely he gets 260 but not super far fetched as long as he is healthy and wants to pitch into his early 40's.

51 pitches in 2 innings. Way to go Robbie.

Walked the 9th hitter who's supposed to be in AAA, then the LO batter who's hitting about .210.

Another injury: Prince Fielder has a herniated disc in his neck and is day to day right now.

At least it explains his horrific performance so far and he has all season to get it fixed since we're probably not going anywhere.

It's hard to imagine an injection will suffice for Fielders herniated disc. Surgery seems more likely. Could this be career threatening? Or could it mean he will never be the same hitter again? I don't know what the typical prognosis is for this type of injury with hitters..... please, enlighten me

It's his neck not his back. Supposedly it's not as serious.
