Better news than I feared when I first saw him getting helped off the field. Figured for sure it was the ACL again.

Wait - I'm confused. When I have a really bad cold and I sneeze and this nasty shit comes out all slimey and greenish yellow - isn't that Meniscus?

I thought Meniscus was that Mexican boy band.

Bucket handle means it's ripped in the middle but still attached on the ends...if they don't go ahead and cut it cleanly, it'll just keep tearing and then hell have shit floating around that they'd have to go in and remove anyway.

More throws for Bradford...and he just lost his LT for the season: Matt Kalil to IR, Clemmings to LT. Vikes just signed Ronnie Hillman too, for those trying to figure out the running game for fantasy purposes lol. Just got cloudier...

Kalil sucks anyway.

Yah he had a great rookie campaign but has been pretty mediocre since. PFF listed him pretty low on their rankings too... still, continuity at the O-Line is important, but there's bigger losses the Vikes could have.

As for Peterson, yah it sucks for Vikes fans, but this was inevitable. Peterson is a beast and his recovery from that ACL was amazing, but you can only last so long at runningback these days. I told several people I was staying away from him in Fantasy because it was just.... due... like it's GOTTA happen at some point.

And sure enough... 31, it did. Might as well call it at 30 since he missed 1 year entirely.

Depends on whether it is a lateral tear or not too. If not then everything posted above are possible. If it is lateral then we are talking months instead of weeks because that requires surgery and has risk of tear all the way through. The whole thing would have to be removed if that happened.

Sucks to hear....

Will make an interesting off-season story next year on what Minnesota does. You can't let him play on that 18 mil cap hit for the final year of his deal. You are looking at a 32 year old back, so do you try and re-work his deal for another 1-2 years on something more manageable?
