Yep, because he's definitely the only player that's ever slashed a guy on the wrist while he had the puck.

Hell, it's pretty easy to find clips of guys slashing players in worse places who don't have the puck and completely behind the play. But because their victims weren't hurt and weren't Mario Lemieux they're nice clean guys I guess.

anyway this discussion could/should be broken down into many different categories of hatred and why.

For example, no way Crosby should be on this list unless there is a 'whiner' category that someone wants to put him in. Same thing with Avery; unless you have an A-Hole Antics category (pushups in corner after scoring with Redwings or was that LAKings?, and Marty BS). JMHO

Yeah. Hate might be too strong a word for most of these guys. I think my feelings about a lot of them are disgust.

I was truly disgusted to see Cooke callously end Barrie's playoffs this year. I remember getting that same feeling watching Ulf Samuelsson back in the day. Just disgusted that this guy was on the ice.

I guess when I put it that way I might have to include Tie Domi on this list. After the Niedermayer elbow I could never watch him play without being somewhat disgusted.

EDIT: This disgust thing is bringing back memories. Bryan Marchment was another guy who made my blood and bile boil.
