I don't care what he played, Allen Iverson WAS a PG.

I am trying this at work today. "I don't care what my job title says, I AM a Vice President!"

I will let you know how it goes.

They got #1 and #2 right but...man...its hard to debate the rest because PG play makes every team different.

Curry could end up being #3 by the time he retires. He could also fizzle pretty quickly and then what? Curry is on the list too soon. I think Curry and Thomas are the next 2 guys in terms of prime but Stockton's career and what Stockton's career could've been in THIS era of PG play is something thats hard to discount.

This^

Curry is fantastic.

But, his resume can't be graded on such a small sample size.

No pg that is currently playing in the NBA should be listed above Isiah Thomas.

I've always thought of AI as a PG, but good list overall.

Isiah Thomas seems to be more and more underrated as we get farther from his career. He flat out dominated and was tough as hell. I love watching Curry. He's playing some special basketball right now. But the longevity isn't there yet to put him so high on this list.

I feel the same way about Stockton, every time he is high up on one of these lists you are for sure to hear from people that they would rather have. I liked the point guard list minus Curry I felt everything else was close. Remove Curry from 4 and Isiah is right where he should be.

Any Guesses for tomorrow's SF picks?

1. Lebron
2. Bird
3. Elgin Baylor
4. John Havlicek
5. Pippen
6. Dr. J
7. Dominique Wilkins
8. Pierce
9. Worthy
10. Durant

Apologies to Rick Barry. 7-10 could really be in any order and I would not argue, Same for Dr. J over Pippen

That looks pretty solid to me. I would bump Dr. J up to #4 if able to include his ABA days. I'd put Worthy over Pierce as well.

Pierce is hard to place but Id agree that Id rather have Worthy. Pierce is somewhat underrated but not a guy that could take a team somewhere by himself which is what a lot of these other players could do.

Worthy vs Pierce is a close one. If you look at their career numbers side by side they are virtually identical. Pierce is the better 3 shooter, but I think that is a generation thing. I think you could put either ahead is the other and you are right

SG list is legit. Pretty sure AI was a point guard though.

ESPN is genius for doing this immediately after CFB is over. They just manufactured their own story to fill gobs of airtime

Didn't he play SG a lot in Philly? I know when Eric Snow was there he did start at SG.

I don't know, I always thought he was a PG. But then, when he was with Philly he did pretty much everything. He was about all they had.

I thought he was a pg too.

I guess this is like the Duncan debate.

I have him as the best PF of All-time.

Others have him as a top 10 Center.
