I’m not touting UTEP or Tulane but they are D1 and both were held to less than 14 if I recall correctly.
I forgot about UTEP. Ya'll held them to 7.

Was someone claiming that the B10 is competent on offense?
Well Part of it is overall better D and part of it is overall bad O.Just saying the yucks banging their chest about their bad ass D should probably consider the offensive competence of their opponents before talking mad shit.
Do you not understand that FCS teams are Div 1 teams?
I don't think you have a clue what "Div 1" teams is.
Well Part of it is overall better D and part of it is overall bad O.
Michigan State put up 42 on Washington State with pulling the quarterback early in the fourth.
Purdue did well against Arizona and Missouri.
Penn State put up 35 on Washington.
It also helps to have some absolutely dreadful teams in Illinois, Rutgers, Maryland, and Indiana to pad the stats with.
FBS and FCS are different. This is just another attempt to be annoying.
They are different but they’re both D1
I try and stay away from the conference Rah Rah shit. Our offense was putrid last year and our defense was mediocre at best regardless of what stats may show. Michigan didn’t have much of an offense. Ohio State didn’t look that impressive most of the year, even with the dismantling they did to MSU’s defense. That’s what I’m saying. It’s relative.
Let me see, there was this bowl game against USC where we seem to have done rather well. Then the Big 10 championship game against undefeated Wisky. We've done OK lately.

30% of the B12 is competent on defense and 14% of the B10 is competent on defense. Let that sink in before B10 fans start quoting numbers from teams units.
The question is whether the defenses in the B10 is that much better or is it because the offenses are that much worse.I'm not sure what methods you use to measure, but here's a realistic breakdown:
Teams that finished in both the Top 25 in scoring defense & total defense: Wisconsin, Penn St., Michigan, Ohio St., Michigan St., TCU. I would rate that as very good, and that's 5 of 14 Big 10 schools (35.7%) and one of ten Big 12 schools (10.0 %).
Teams that were Top 25 in scoring & 26-50 in total defense were: Iowa & Northwestern from the Big 10 & no one from the Big 12. That's 14.28% of the Big 10 & 0% of the Big 12. I'd call that pretty good.
Teams that ranked 26-50 in both scoring & total defense were: Minnesota, Iowa St. & Texas. That's one from the Big 10 (7.14%), and two from the Big 12 (20.0%). That's what I would call decent.
Overall defensive ratings of decent or better: 8 of 14 Big 10 teams (57.1%); 3 of 10 Big 12 teams (30.0%).
And just for the record, Purdue (B-10) was 25th in scoring defense & Kansas St. (B-12) was 50th, but neither team was in the Top 50 in total defense.
Exactly. Hard to fully gauge. It's much better to compare individual teams as there are a bunch of variables when looking at conferences. The question is whether the defenses in the B10 is that much better or is it because the offenses are that much worse.
Technically yes, but not in reality.
No doubt the Big 12 is much more offensive-minded than the Big 10; just as the Big 10 is much more defensive-minded than the Big 12.
They are different, but they are ALL Div 1 teams. And they always have been Div 1 teams, at best in the past before being called FCS it was Div 1-AA
And of course you would never want to be corrected on something you say falsely. It's why you're such a dumbass in general.
There’s also a huge difference in the kinds of offenses being run. The B1G tends to run more run centric offenses to control the clock and that will reduce scoring for both teams. No doubt the Big 12 is much more offensive-minded than the Big 10; just as the Big 10 is much more defensive-minded than the Big 12.

You're the dumbass. Everybody else understood me except you. Playing stupid again. There is a huge difference between 1A and 1-AA just like FBS and FCS. Not impressed with you playing a jerk.
