How'd we go from Top defenses to rapist lovers?

Look for USC to have a much improved defense.

We heard all about offensively incompetent conferences before the Rose Bowl last year. Then that team from an offensively incompetent conference hung 54 on Oklahoma, and the defense took their lumps early, but shut down Oklahoma's offense in the second half.

Umm... scoring on Oklahoma defense last year is no great feat, bruh.

Ahhh you can whack off to the 3rd quarter all you want but that defense you are praising gave up the same amount of points in the 4th quarter as they did in the first. 3 less than the second quarter. Your defense didn’t shut down shit.

10 offensive points allowed in the second half, and that includes two OT periods. I mean a dimwit might count a a fumble returned 50 something yards for a TD as the defense giving up points, but I give you more credit than that.

Please don’t remind me that we lead with less than a minute left. Then our punter shit his pants for like the fourth time that game. :pout:

It was probably the best game of the entire CFB season. Rough way to lose, but I'd argue our loss in the NCG was more painful if for nothing else, my parents were 8 the last time Georgia won a natty, and we let one slip away, and who knows when we'll get a chance for another.

The way you guys are going I’d expect you to pull one down the next 4 years or so. What the rose bowl showed was just how much the vacation bob took really hurt our defensive recruiting. This may finally be the year we finally start to get over the jump defensively as the recruiting ship has been started to right the last two years, but it takes time. So sad to have such a prolific I offense all around and have a defense so bad. This will be the last season for the cancer that is Mike Sroops and then hopefully we’ll see things trend the right way. Just sucks. If Oklahoma has a top 50 defense last year they probably win the whole thing. Instead they wasted the best QB ever at Oklahoma.

Talent will definitely be there. There were a lot of true leaders headed to the NFL now though. Gonna be interesting to see what happens now that this truly is Fromm's team.

Shit, forgot about that. Still that D gave up 41 points. I wouldn’t brag about anything.

First half was embarrassing. Absolutely loved the second half though. Good adjustments en sech. Plus your RBs having lanes big enough for 6 lanes of traffic to drive through didn't hurt things either.

Notice how many come from the offensively incompetent conferences. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not defending Oklahoma’s defense the last two seasons. We got a cancer that hopefully gets cut out this year. That said, often times those top defenses get lit up out of conference routinely.

Georgia put up 54 points on you.

How is that "offensively incompetent"?

Because our defense sucked a fat donkey dick. Scoring on Oklahoma’s defense was no great feat. All season we just had to try to out score teams. We knew it going into that game too.

I loved both halves. OU hit their personal over for me in the first half. Didn’t take long to hit the game over in the early second half. Then took an in game bet over at over 75.5 and nailed that. Great game on top of all that.

I’m a degenerate gambler by the way.
