I always thought Billy Sims was better than Peterson. At Oklahoma anyway.

Well... I have a hard time remembering the early 90's because I didn't want to.

And I have a hard time remembering the late 90's because of medical stuff.

So even though I watched alot of sports back then.... I have no idea who was tops then.

Lawrence Phillips was a really good college player that isn't even on the same planet as Adrian Peterson in terms of talent level. Nebraska had a great run and great teams, but the EVERYONE ON OUR TEAM WAS THE BEST EVER revisionist bullshit is pretty tiring. Really good player. Comparing him favorably against one of the 3 best running backs ever is silly though.
