Matt, I have to wonder what your boy Jerrah Jones was thinking last nite. He made the trade with San Fran to give up the 18th overall in exchange for SF's 31st overall, plus 2013 3rd rd pick (74th overall).

Ok, not a bad move on first glance. Dallas didn't see the value at their original slot, so they swapped it, and got an extra 3rd for their troubles.

Then New England trades away their 29th overall selection to Minny in exchange for Minny's 2013 second(52), third(83), fourth(102) and seventh.

I realize it wasn't a swap of firsts, like Dallas and SF exchanged... but how in the hell does the 29th overall land you four more picks, while the 18th overall only landed you a swapped 1st(31st), plus a 3rd(74)? :noidea:

Minny gave up way too much, and Dallas didn't get near enough back, in my humble opinion.

Don't you dare question Jerry Jones logic! That man is a football genius.

I woke up this morning and started looking at the draft order and I was saying where the fuck is our 18th... then I got lower and lower and lower and I just didnt understand. do I like the pick at 31 well its not terrible its a hole we need to fill but I guess picking up an extra 3rd was ok. maybe they didnt see much from 18 to 30 that really stood out but Im not in the know of NFL drafting over NHL so I cant say if this was terrible Jones is a weird dude

I'd love to see Lacy in a Steelers uniform!!!!

Lacy is a product of one of the best Offensive Lines we've seen in decades. I think he's Mark Ingram 2.0. Whoever takes him will be disappointed.

I like Franklin from UCLA & Barner from Oregon. Barner could be the next Sproles.

I would take my chances with Lacy on the Steelers. If he is gone maybe Montee Ball will be there.

Just wasn't impressed with the return Dallas received for moving thirteen positions down the draft board

I think I like Montee Ball better than Lacy, actually. But I guess we'll see how they measure up in the NFL.

I could agree with that statement.... I love Lacy cause he wore the Crimson, but he seemed to have lost a step (ankle injury) & he still has an acute case of fumble-litis from time to time.
