In Brady's defense, it has been the only real mistake and he has looked like a well oil machine to this point. Efficient, in command, precise less 1 throw and looks like, well, like we all expected. Even ran some hurry up and no huddle. Since when has Gruden took the reins off Cousins and ran hurry up or no huddle in an early series? Usually only happens when we are down multiple scores or in garbage time. I want to see Cousins grow more in our offense.

Brady's been running the same offense for 18 years. He knows it like the back of his hand. While KC is gaining more independence in calling audibles and protections, its not realistic to expect KC to have the same leeway as Tom in either the play calling for game management after only 3 years with this offense.

I don't envision or expect Cousins to be Brady at all/ever. I do expect to see growth, improvement and continued leadership. I hope that entails learning and absorbing the nuances of playing QB in the NFL which includes running no huddle impromptu or any other sophisticated schemes required to win on offense. Cousins has proven diligent and smart enough to take more on this year so I want to see it. I believe he is capable so time to take the reins off him Gruden.

That's not very fair. Dean only thinks that KC misses throws. Instead of looking at the 70% of passes that KC does make, Dean focuses on the 30% that he doesn't.

No, I get it. And I bet we do see more of this from KC this year. But understand, as with anything new, there will be mistakes.

I'm ok with mistakes. It's called being realistic which I know is hard for some around here.

Just curious....what would that growth look like? Here are his career stats:

its all brady's fault for choking on the 4th and goal . not the pats defense allowing a 90 yd drive :D

C'mon man....I'm not Dean Sty. You know where I'm going with this. ALL players need to improve but I'm only concerned with Redskin players. Cousins has been pretty good the past 2 seasons. There is ample room for improvement from Cousins and I think we can all agree on that. I want to see him grow more within the offense which would include being able to run no huddle at any time during the game, not just during the 2 min drill. I want him to get through his progressions faster, identify what defenses are trying to do to confuse him, and I want to see vast improvement from him in the red zone. I would say being more precise with his throws but his completion percentage is pretty damn good already.

HTTR!

brady's stats look good but he has missed 3 open TE's and made a dumb choice on the 4th and 1.

not the defense giving up a 90 yd drive because only intangibles matter accoording to dean :D

I will say this, Brady has attempted about 4-5 passes longer than 20 yards downfield in the 1st qtr alone already. I like the aggressiveness.

poor pass:eek: by brady forcing it into coverage against a Kc LB

but before that his inaccurate high pass to cooks cost them 10 more yds at least

if KC did that Dean would sentence KC to waterboarding

its easy to be dean second guessing everything :rolleyes2:
